2. Choose your timing. You can opt for the inspector to inspect the car before you meet the seller for the test drive, or you can choose to have the inspector show up for the test drive. The latter option will allow you to get the deal done on the spot.
3. If the inspector meets you for the test drive, they can verbally confirm the condition of the car and subsequently your report will appear in your PrivateAuto dashboard.
4. If the inspector meets the seller separately (before you test drive the car), their inspection report will appear in your PrivateAuto dashboard within a couple of days.

Your inspector will check the structural and mechanical integrity of the vehicle, as well as fluid levels, suspension, brakes, and much more. If any mechanical issues exist, the detailed inspection will surface them.
